My 1M is on the boat now and I should be taking delivery next week. My original plan was to do 18" wheels and snows for winter but since I may be moving to warmer climates in February I don't really want to buy new wheels and tires just to drive the car for a few months and then never use them again.
Considering my situation would it be crazy to keep the stock 19" wheels and do snow tires on them? I was thinking Nokian Hakkapeliittas. I dont plan on venturing out in a snowstorm with the 1M, ever but having snows on it will give me peace of mind if I am out somewhere and the weather changes I'd like to be able to drive home safely. So would the stock 19's on nokian hakkapeliittas be an okay alternative to a full snow setup if I am driving locally and never in heavy snow? |

looks really good. I already got a set of 260M and shopping for tires now, the choice is really limited as of this moment, I am most likely go with Pirelli Winter 240 Sottozero Serie II Tires which is the only choice left on tire rack... Anyone can recommend a good source with reasonable prices and wider selection? Maybe I would have to go with 245/40/18 fronts and 255/40/18 rears, I am aware it's not optimal, but do you guys think I will have issues with the setup? thanks. |

Has anyone been able to successfully fit all 4 of the stock 19" rims in their car when they have changed over to winter rubber?
I don't know that it is dimensionally possible or not. |

I've had two in the trunk area and two on the back of the folded seats, it's tight but can be done.
