FS (CenCoastCA): Hoosier R7 245/45R17 & TRMotorsports Wheels
I sold my S52-powered BMW 318ti last month, so I am now selling my set of brand new Hoosier R7 tires that are mounted on TRMotorsports C2 rims. The wheels are 17" by 8.5 wide, with an ET40 offset in a BMW 5x120 pattern. You can see the specs on these wheels at www.tirerack.com. I bought these wheels from a guy that had a 2012 BMW 135i, and based on my research will fit most other modern BMWs (E36, E46, E90, etc.) although I required spacers and coilovers on my E36 when I ran off the old tires in this same size. They're a great and economical track wheel that do not weigh a ton. They're $145 each from TireRack. The tires were correctly heat-cycled by TireRack, so they're ready to hit the track. These have never even touched the ground -- they are brand new with the factory nibs still intact and no scuffing. I purchased these Hoosiers in September 2017 from TireRack, and they're the latest-model stickies available. As noted in the title, they are 245/45-R17s and they're $344 each (not including heat-cycling). They're perfect for track days, SCCA autocross, BMWCCA events or even PCA autox. This setup would cost you over $2,000 including shipping, mounting and sales taxes. I'm losing my shirt on this deal, but I've moved on to my frankenstein Porsche 914 project now, and there's no way I can fit these tires under my car's (flared) fenders. Come and get 'em out of my garage! They're located in San Luis Obispo, but I frequently make trips to the Bay Area and could possibly meet along US101. I will ignore all replies that do not include a phone number. The ONLY trade I'd consider are Hoosiers and wheels that will fit under steel 914 flares... Sorry, I'm not inclined to break up the wheels/tires. Someday I'll finish the LSx swap into my E28 524td chassis and it'll need stickies...
