Not really, my buddy has one and he loves it. He is not an enthusiast by any means and rarely goes over the speed limit, where I myself am quite the opposite. He loves the way it drives especially on long trips and loves the mpg he's getting. He did mention that it doesn't feel as good as his previous BMW(E60) which is no surprise. I know he can afford a 340i M sport but I told him it would be overkill for him, the 320i is perfect for this type of clientele.

Absolutely, BMW knows what it is doing and they are selling a ton of cars. Very few people find cars to be interesting, and many places are so unpleasant to drive in most of the time that driving is a real chore.

Of course, this type of forum does not attract the average car owner.

actually, for the past 3 years BMWs numbers have been dropping. Otherwise, I agree with you.
