2009 135i n54 stock with only PE.

stage 1 agressive my charge pipe keeps disconnecting on the intercooler side, does a new metal CP fix this or do i need an extra elbow. this occurend the first ride after installing it. i just reclamped it tight and it happend again any suggestions would be helpful, and does the cobb intercooler include that elbow

IT is not uncommon for this to happen however i ran my car FBO minus a charge pipe upgrade for awhile and never blew mine off. So i would suggest tightening it as tight as possible or upgrading your CP with a kit that comes with a new elbow and clamp

The stock Charge pipe will fail sooner or later.
You are better off getting an aftermarket one before that happens.

Yep and you can take advantage of the fact that you can run VTA for simplicity without any downsides on that N54 motor

Speed density FTW.

This happens to me, not really sure why. I just pop it back on everytime until it comes off again.

you are only buying time though.
It will fail eventually and you will be stuck on the side of the road, and then you have to wait a week for the new CP to be delivered to you.

yo see mine one the stage 1 aggressove is constantly popping off on intercooler side never on engine side. this charge pipe is only 2 months old. i was interested in the active autowork BOV

Probably true, just don't want to shell out the money for a new one just yet as its not a super frequent occurrence.

i heard once the t bolt clamp holding the pipe needs to be replaced after it allows the pipe to disconnect like that
