Brake pad replacement

I need to get the front brake pads replaced on my '09 135. I have the factory drilled rotors. They (not a dealer) want to use ATE pads. I always understood the originals were either Pagid, Jurid or Textar. RealOEM.com used to say what they were, but doesn't any more.

Anyone have any experience with ATE pads? If so, Any comments or advice?

It's a city driving car only, so noting special required.

Thanks in advance.
B.

ECS tuning says the oem pads are Textar. I've never used them though.

Dust crazy. If you like scrubbing your wheels every week, this is the pad for you!

I've got a Stoptech BBK and it isn't much better. Brake dust is expected with decent pads. I always opt for darker wheels to mask the dust. There are some products out there that repel dust as well.

Stoptech BBK ship with their street performance pads- my experience differs- noticeably less dusty than my BMWP(OEM) pads.
