I posted this on the local BMW club forum in South Africa, but I though I'd try get a 1 addicts opnion

When it comes to comestic mod's, I'm genereally very decisive. However I now find myself in a very usual spot.... confused :rollsmile:

This is a mod that I have been planning for a while and invloves shipping my headlights to the States and back, as there is no local knowleadge that I have come across that can perform this work... and yeah it doesn't come cheap, so I need to make sure I'm doing it right.

It is a company called OSS designs, they perform custom type work on headlights, something I really want.

Now, I set my mind on the "full blackout", as seen below, which I think looks really good and maintains the stealth type look / theme on the car.

I then cam across the 1M below and made contact with the owner, OSS also did his car and he swears by the quality of their work. At first, it didn't interest me, but the bloodshot look is now really growing on me. I think it looks different, bold, but not enough to look rice. It will look really aggressive.

Thoughts / Discuss.... Blackout or Bloodshot

OSS used a gunmetal for the insides of my headlights to match my SSRs you could do a full black out i think thatll tie your car perfectly with the bloodshot

In the States there may be legal issues involved if you have red lights facing forwards. YMMV.

+1 red or blue; they are considered emergency car equipment.

DO IT, i love the stock and its fine with me, how long will it take your headlights to be shipped and then returned...i believe its going to take quite a while...
nevertheless its gonna be sick!
