New wheels
I just orderd some VMR V710's and can't wait for them to get here. The new Michelin Super Sports's in my garage can't wait for the wheels either.
I went with 225/40 18 in the front and 255/35 28 in the rear, this should handle and ride much nicer. |

nice, thanks for the info. I have a set of Volk G2's that are in need of refinishing, but I'm thinking about selling those and going with this exact setup in the spring. I can't decide what to do.

I got the same size rims. Im gonna be lowering with coils, just to get rid of any wheel gap and maybe tuck a bit of tire.
Was gonna get +45 offset in rear, but i dont want to roll fenders.

I agree with you on the rolled fenders, that is why i also did not want to go with a +45 offset. I track the car about 4 days a year plus some autocross and i would like to lower the car in the future so with the +45 offsite i didn't want to deal with fitment issues.

That setup is going to be great.
Bolt on fitment with good tires! Be sure to post pictures of this setup once it's on the car.

Finally i have my new wheels on the car. Here are the some pics. i had some rubbing at first and then i looked at the inner fender well (plastic) and it was not in place properly so once i put it in place everything fits great.
