Alas she said no. So I am left pining for her from afar!

My dad is a car enthusiast, so that doesn't hurt. He agreed to pay what he was paying before for my first car, $450 a month for a 2006 Honda Civic Si, and that I would cover anything else. Since the 135 is costing me about... $645 a month with 2k down. I have amazing credit because the house I live in down here is in my name. So I guess a mix of me being an over achiever, the fact that I work, and both my dad and my credit, we managed to work something out.

Thanks you guyssssss, you all are so nice!

Congrats again. It seems you have a good head on your shoulders. Good luck and enjoy your baby!

Welcome!

Speakin Up

Hey, I'm a senior Lady (over 50 & that's all I'll say), who drives a 135. I live in Ga, just north of Atlanta.

Took ED of my SMG 135 on July 29....and learned today my PCD will be Sept. 30.

I've actually been a little depressed since I left that sweet thing in Frankfurt, Aug. 11.

Hey, they say unique people own and drive Bimmers....well I'm all that and probably a bit more. For the past 4 years I've attended 3 drivers schools and was very proud of my time last June.
Mods are planned for the 1's suspension (H&R sways are on their way), then I'll replace the RFs and learn to track it...I believe the 1 will be a whole new ball game with rear wheel drive and power to spair. Can't wait!!!

You can check out the 135's options on my sig....not wimpy in the least!!!
Here's a pix at the Welt ...I'd been planning that day for almost a year.

I like to sit, drink coffee and read a lot of car mags in the Barnes & N in my neighborhood. One day I read a comparison of a Bimmer (can't remember which series now) and a MINI....I was impressed with the luxury and spunky action the Bimmer provided and decided my next car would be a BMW.
Started doing quite a bit of research which mostly amounted to general discussion among my car buddys. One day, our 1Addicts member, Call, told me about the 1 and said it's the next "have to have" car. At that point I became a true blue 1Addict and one thing lead to another and my story book tale came to pass.

It's been one of those life experiences I'll always remember....lately I've been holding the keys in my hot little hands and remembering what it felt like to effortlessly go 120 mph down the Autobahn & how humble I felt on the Neurbergring...Even when I'm, 90+ and maybe don't drive any more, I can hold the keys and remember...GOD I love making memories and having no regrets.

AH I love it. You remind me of my mother. Completely insane and AWESOME.
I wish I would have done ED but I could never find the time, and also having to wait even LONGER for my car and getting to drive it and then have to leave it would make me depressed.
Congrats!

Thanx 2 u both....and here's a bit 'O wisdom for the youngun.
With women, anticipation is everything....although I've hated waiting for that car & it's depressed me at times...I've thoroughly enjoyed the process, the drama and the tease....
Think about it...when I actually get the car all this drama will be over and I'll have to get in it & find more trouble to get into.

So glad your Mom is totally unique also....I know you must be special with that kind of influence.

Guys you're in excellent company!
