I got my 135!!!!!!
Got it last week, but haven't been able to use it much... lack of time!!!
Here go a couple of pics from the delivery day, I'll try to post better ones further on!!! I'm so happy!!!!! First impressions: this car in awesome. Previously I had three M3's, so I'm used to "high performance", but this car seems like it will be incredible!!!! Cheers. |

Welcome Dur,
Strange for us Americans to see a one with a sunroof. All of our 1 series in the USA have the sunroof. Also, nice headlights, our have to be amber at the sides. Do you plan on any mods like wheels or EUC upgrade/JB3? Is it a 2008 or 2009? Now get out and enjoy your car.

Congratulations! Sounds like you and your new 1 are going to be good for each other. Great looking car (but, then, I DO like 'em white).
After you've burned through a few tanks of gas (er... pardon me - if you're in Europe, it would be "petrol"), be sure to post your thoughts about differences in handling and performance M3 vs 135. I'm sure we'd all be very interested in your impressions.

[Austin... watch how I deftly dodge moderator bashing of off-topic comment appended to tail-end of post, and pat myself on the back in a most stupid, ham-handed manner]
Yes, it pains me to admit it, but the sunroof delete is probably the biggest "DOH" moment for me. DUR definitely had the right idea - and the foresight - to go with a hard hard-top. Slick car. Hey, Austin. Saw your portfolio on austingrade web site. You were born to shoot automotive photos! Great stuff, man.

I hope everybody notices how many exclamation marks DUR used when starting this thread. And, NO, I'm not making fun.
Every car purchase should be that joyous. I'm reminded that sometimes, we get a little jaded with the process of buying a new car. We get caught up in numbers, modifications, performance, and carbon fiber, and maybe we forget what originally sparked our passion for great cars back when we were kids (that's decades ago, in my case). Anyway, it just occurred to me that we could all learn something from DUR's enthusiasm. So, here's an exclamation mark right back atcha: !
