BMWCCA Rally - Anyone Going?
I was thinking of going. Anyone else interested? I've never been to a rally before.:roundel:
Minute Man Fun Rally By Rally Meisters Eduardo McIntosh & Marcy Venezia The Boston Chapter BMW CCA is proud to announce the Minute Man Fun Rally to be held on Sunday November 9 with a starting point of the Marriott Hotel in Newton right off Rte. 95/128 and Rte. 30. We will meet at the rear of the parking lot (look for a lot of BMWs). Drivers meeting at 9:30AM sharp and first car off at 10AM. This is a low key, no heavy lifting type of event that should be enjoyed by all those that participate. Two persons per car so there is no unfair advantage. The Rally Route will follow the back roads of Newton, Lexington and Concord. We will pass by famous battle sites of the American Resistance against the British in 1775. See Taverns and historic houses of famous poets and authors. The Rally Meisters decision is final. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. We will end the Rally at a Pizzeria so everyone can have lunch, we can score the answer sheets and announce the winners. Event Coordinator: John Sullivan

I dont know if anyone would be up for a beer afterward to watch the patriots play the buffalo bills? This rally ends rather early and I would rather stick around boston and relax for a while.

damn, I have to find a date now. The girls I hang out with don't tend to be very good at things like map reading. I suppose I could take my roommate but there is little chance I'll be able to wake him up that early.

Don't forget to register, also you WILL need a passenger. you can only have 1Hi All:
The Minute Man Fun Rally route was checked and verified last week on Thursday. We found the Route to be an interesting Historical Tour of some monuments and sites dating back to Revolutionary times. If you are a History Buff you will not want to miss out on this event. The Leaf Peaping and all it's grandure is an added bonus. We recommend bringing some warm cloths since you will have to get out of your car a few times, a clipboard with pencil and a highlighter. Please arrive on time for the Drivers Meeting at 9:30AM SHARP. Meeting Location Duck Feeding area/Parking lot in Norumbega Park off the Service Road off the Northbound Ramp for Rt.95/128 The Boston Chapter is proud to announce the Minute Man Fun Rally to be held on Sunday November 9, with a starting point near the Marriott Newton Hotel east of Rte 95/128 on Rte 30 just north of the Mass Pike. Drivers meeting at 9:30AM sharp and first car off at 10AM. This is a low key, no heavy lifting type of event that should be enjoyed by all those who participate. Limit of two persons per car so there is no unfair advantage. The Rally Route will follow the back roads of Newton, Lexington and Concord. We will pass by famous battle sites and historical features of the American Revolution. We will see Taverns and historic houses of famous poets and authors. Prizes will be awarded to the top three places. The Rally Meisters decision is final. We will end the Rally near a Restaurant to be announced at the Drivers Meeting, so everyone can have lunch while we score the answer sheets and announce the winners.

Anyone else have the classic field trips involving Lexington Green, Walden Pond or The Cordova Museum?
Somehow I managed to miss them all, but maybe we'll have an advantage.
