bmw 130i performance exhaust illegal?
hey guys just registered!
anyway im after a performance exhaust for my 130i, i just called up bmw, and they told me the exhaust does not comply with australian laws??? is this true!? |

Yep, the BMW PE does not comply with our nanny-state ADRs. Pretty ridiculous how an OEM part doesn't meet laws due to cat delete.
You can source it from the UK/US (much cheaper too) and get a local shop to install it. I see you're in Melbourne, so go hit up andrew@southernBM. He is the BEST in Australia. Also like sootyvrs suggested, post in the Australia section at the top of the page
