This is sounding like a plan! Weekend of 22nd/23rd sounds good to me. And to make things better I got a call from the dealer a couple of hours ago to tell me car is now in the country. . But on the down side, I aint picking it up for more than 4 weeks as I am going on holiday . All I can say is it is going to be a long flight home thinking about picking up my box fresh car .

As for venue, donnington doesnt sound too bad. Good central location. Are we going to stay down there for a night and make a weekend of it so I can buy that round I was talking about ?

Saw Little Britain Live at Manchester early this month. Very good.

April 22/23rd also good for me.

May help in determining a venue.

Excellent!
I'm well up for making a weekend of it, Flyingdwarf.

So....is everyone happy to meet up on the weekend of April 22/23rd at Donington Park, maybe having a drive to a country pub for a meal and a drink afterwards?

I can't wait!

I thought this thread needed bumping up a little.
Any more interested for the weekend of April 22/23rd at Donington Park?

Thanks jj. I'll try leaving my walking stick at home as well- it really knacks the aluminium trim.
I'm still waiting for 'nursing homes' to appear on the sat nav information categories screen.

Surely, I can't be the oldest member at 36, can I???!!!

Good job I stuck to the Matt titanium then, sounds like my zimmer frame would really wreck ally!. Several years since I was 36....

Will not be able to make the meet (mines a fairly std E90 anyway), but have fun guys!.

Hello chaps (and ladies if any of your are, but I doubt it). Don't worry vivekk, I might only be 28 but I am cynical as a 90 year old, so you can treat me like I am middle aged if you want (not that I am suggesting you are of course).

Sorry I missed out on all this chat but I am in a different time zone and just woken up. I am still interested in the meet. Get the car the day after i get home so it will still be fairly box fresh by then. Be nice to take it out and put a few miles on it as well. I am also going to be offline for a few days I think but will check in middle of next week. I am pretty flexible so make plans as you see fit, and for those of us up yorkshire way, why dont we think about meeting up and going in convoy to wherever it may be?

Hi cntlaw. Hope you are enjoying the AS & xenons on your new car.
If everything runs ok & everyone turns up to the meet, then we should have some great shots & video footage- I'm looking forward to it.

It would be nice to have international members come over to other countries' meets whilst on holiday etc.

I'm sure I speak on behalf of other UK members when I say it would be great to see members from other countries at our meets in future.

All the best cntlaw.
