Bmw 135 Vs E90 M3

Coming back from Bimmerfest we had a chance to run both cars to see what would happen for fun. Other than minor exhaust mods both cars have no engine mods. We were surprised..........

I guess that goes to show what amount of torque is available in the two cars at those two points

135's tq comes in so low it just pulled away. The M3 has the top end. It was pretty interesting though we didnt expect that.

Yep. The torque curve on the 135i makes it pretty forgiving if you make a bad gear selection in a situation like that. M3 would have looked a lot better if he'd dropped down one more gear.

Thats why we did the 2nd run in 3rd but even then it didnt pull away like we thought it would. In the first run I turned stopped the video early by mistake but the 135 kept pulling.......
