Either would do a fine job. Not much performance difference, at all, between the two.

I have the Blizzaks (non-runflats) and I am very happy with them. I have been thru some deep snow and did fine. I do several trips to Whistler each year with no issues. I didn't get runflats. i just purchased one of those Continental tire reapir kits (with the elelctric pump and the tire repair goop) and I keep that in my trunk. It fit in one fo the side pockets in the trunk.

Are there ANY tires other than the Sottozeros that fit the stock rims?

Also due to the cost I was planning on just getting rears, I rarely drive in deep snow. Any problems with this other than the obvious decrease in steering control?

Found my own thread on this:
