Chasing a 135i Around Summit Point
So bummed my GoPro died when it did, eventually did catch up with the 135i but we were giving each other points all weekend, our lap times were near identical at 1:28 or so.
Spoke to the owner Joe and car is n54 bone stock, only mods were 235/255 Star Spec Z2's with Hawk track pads. I still need to tweak my alignment, turn in and mid-corner feel great but car is squirming under heavy braking. Enjoy! |

how did you like the track? it's a fun high speed track and my old stomping ground. Joe is also a friend and his on the forum here. I think summit is his home away from home LOL. nice driving

It was my first time back in 2 years and it was just as good as I remembered it. I like the track a lot, wish it were a tad bit longer but it has a good blend of elevation change, long straights and tight corners. I'm hoping to make it out there once more this year.

you were carrying good speed into the turns but you barely cracked 130 on the main straight. I thought the Z4M had more steam than that. what are you running at the crank? 340?

ok that explains it. I love this platform for a track build. just drop a stroker S54 in and add a little aero and you have one serious track beast.

Here's a video I put together from the last session using Harry's Lap timer and two cameras.
