Unfortunately I was hit by some lady who didn't see me as she was trying to make a u-turn from a parking spot without a signal and sent me into a 9 inch curb, then into the retaining wall.

Meeting with the insurance rep on Monday to see where she stands. Thankfully everyone was okay and not harmed. I'll report back with more details once I have them.

^Was interested in that info too. Currently I have the Bimmian headlight reflector covers which just sit over the exterior of the headlight with some double sided tape. Could you shed more detail on what you did?

I sent my lights to BavarianX, they opened them up, blacked out the housings, added led angel eyes, and put vinyl over that piece.

It happened on the 28th. We are all car enthusiasts here. No need to get mad. It was a beautiful car but we all mod them and know the risks of an accident. My last vehicle was a 97 m3 with 70,000 miles and a week after i supercharged it, I got rear ended and it ended up being totalled. The car was beautiful but what done is done. The car was one of the nicest on the forum and inspired my build.

YeahI have to say Dmaccs build is/was an inspiration, love the car hope it all works out.

I see on the date, that's my bad on the dates, not mad just thought it was a bit early to be calling dibs on the remainder of the car! Hope there's no hard feelings.

While we are on topic, can you still get the Bavarianx headlights done? If so could someone shed light on info regarding those.

No rubbing at all on hard bumps with 3 people in the car, just the slightest amount with 4 people.

Whats the benefit of only swapping front springs and not all 4?
Ive seen another member do this but never knew why

Side note - I have kw v1's will swift spec R springs fit in them or do I need a different type?

Dmacc, on your bumper, was the side grill/vents actual vents or were they fake and did they pop out? I just purchased a replica bumper and the side vent/grill thingys are part of the bumper so painting I have to have them tape it off. Was just curious if yours was the same way.
