doesn't look too bad. A few things like bluetooth and USB integrated.
Prolly means 1000$ on top of existing prices

At least in Canada, not sure about the US.
Also, a heads-up for those of you thinking of buying a 2010 128i coupe, the exterior color selection will be cut down to 6 choices only! So if you want a color other than black, silver, white, grey, or that new blue, you may be forced to go 2009! |

Ipod and bluetooth now will be standard in Canada?
What about those with Blackberries? Is there a connection for them if I want to listen to music stored on my Blackberry's SD card (Standard 3.5")? |

The easiest way to test to see if a device will play music via the USB connection is to plug it into a computer first. If it comes up as a mass storage device then you should be good. Other factors (such as drive formatting, etc) may cause issues with playing but that is the first hurdle. |

I notice that on this one, they explicitly state the High Speed Maximum increase to 240km/h. I originally thought they still increased it on 2009 and prior models and didn't bother stating it, but now I wonder if they didn't.
Could just be a marketing thing, adds one more line item to the sport package. |

Thanks.
I cant believe that I wont be able to play music from blackberry storm.. When you say ipod music is being played off aux port - does that mean ipod gets connected to standard 3.5" jack in addition to Ipod connector? Quote:

Meh, I'm happy to see it go. I love my MB 1er, but I find people don't take care of their dark BMWs and they end up looking terrible when they're dirty. If you're going to drive a BMW, at least put some effort into keeping it looking good, doesn't take more than a couple hours every couple weeks. So yeah, I could care less about seeing others on the road.

iPod gets connected with a Y-cable. From the iPod, the cable splits with one end going in the aux port and one end in the USB. The USB is for control (change track, etc) and charging the iPod. The aux port is where the sound comes from. Lame. Better off using a thumb drive so you hear the music digitally.

Always been able to use a thumb drive. There are some issues I have heard (but not tested myself so I am only passing along second hand info). First is you should format the drive using FAT format. NTSF may cause problems. Also some people have reported problems using a size greater than 32GB. My 8GB thuimb drive has worked perfectly since day one. There are threads out there where people discuss the best way to format the music and put into into the ID3 tags to enable quick selecting of music. |

My SANDisk 2GB and 8GB are readable and play. however, often the player stops and runs back to the radio mode. I tried to re sample music from 128kb to 192+ and I still have the same issue. I don't know if is to do with the track or just where the track sits on the usb drive. I tried to go from 8GB down to 2GB and same issue. Using FAT and FAT32 same issue.
