Does anyone have past experience with fixing a normal slimline plate to the front bumper with just adhesive? Do they hold on like the spoilers do when held with tape?
I really don't want to do the sticker option as drive into the CBD, and drive pretty much around parliament house to and from work. It would just be my luck I'd get pinged for these.

I always fix them to the car with 3m double sided tape, never screw them on (prolly cause I change cars so often). It seems to work pretty well IMO, and has the added benefit of a clean look without any screws or the obligatory holes. |

aussie racer,
i tried sticking my plate on to a painted surface with double sided tape. the tape stuck to the painted surface but the aluminium plate was quite easily pulled cleanly off... having said that i may not have been using the right type of tape. but i suspect if you use too strong a tape (like the industrial types) you may have trouble getting the tape off when you want to. |
