They weigh 24lbs about the same as originals.

And what size tires can you mount on these wheels.
I mean, 215 to what.

Yes, these would work. There are plenty of people running 18x8 +40. You can run a 215 to 245 on this wheel.

Im going to note that without any other suspension work the 245 is really tight depending on your brand.

My dunlops just barely miss clearing the fender side...im sure something with a less square shoulder will make it.

I think with a +42 offset it should be fine, a 235 would be ideal.
