Bay Area 1er sighting

Wow there's a 135i not to far from my place!
Spotted a Black 135i with regular plates on Curtner Ave and Camden. I was driving home and it was parked next to a house on curtner. It was SOO GOOD looking..

looks like he has the performance package. Noice!

I spotted a black vert tonight around 8 pm on brokaw/murphy/hostetter going towards 680. Female driver. I seems all my spots have been female, and with my luck, this one will be on the boards as well!

Ended up seeing a STUNNING E46 M3 on 280 near cupertino. Alpine White, highly modified and definitely had a turbo on it.

I have yet to see a 1 parked at Stoneridge... Time to go and scope that one out lol.

Btw, last Friday, I saw a Cashmere 135i with a Mt. View dealer plate on 680-N weaving through traffic (like me!). We acknowledged and passed each other several times, and I couldn't help but stare. It's nice to see other 1ers as I still rarely see them on the road.

I saw a SGM 135i on the 680 South between Walnut Creek and Danville yesterday a little before 5PM. He was driving pretty aggressively and I was following him for a few miles till he switched to the carpool lane and took off. The funny thing is I didn't see a passenger in the car with him. Don't worry I won't tell anyone. Actually I think I just did.... Sorry. :wink:

It was Tuesday and whomever it was, was driving pretty aggressively. I saw him coming up in my rear view mirror and he squeezed over into the left lane in front of a silver Acura TL that was directly behind me while barely missing the car in front of him in his own lane.

Traffic was surprisingly light for that time of day. I was in the left most non-carpool lane and doing about 75mph. I'm pretty sure he was driving alone because he drove in front of me for 4-5 miles before there was a little slow down from 75 to about 60 and jumped into the carpool lane. I lost sight of him very quickly after that.

I did enjoy staring at his car. SGM is the color that I originally wanted to get before BMW nixed it. I also managed to get his license plate. 6DNS... I won't give out the whole plate number out of respect for the 1er driver. I don't blame him for driving aggressively. The annoyance of rush hour traffic combined with the temptation of the power under the hood of the 135i would make me drive just as aggressively or more so.

I go up there pretty often on weekends. I'm mostly in walnut creek and concord area tho. sometimes pleasanton.

I'm in the East Bay most weekends, too. I usually float between Walnut Creek and Orinda. That wasn't my SGM on Tuesday, though, I was driving down Tuesday morning back to Monterey.

Which reminds me, not a 1er, but I saw one of the new GT-R's on the 24 a few weeks back, got off at the Orinda exit. Man, that is one sweet looking car.

It's funny, all these 1's in the bay area and I have yet to see another one on the road there.
