It was about $500 all up for the install as the software in the car had to be upgraded to work with the wheel, I think the software install was about $300

Yes the leather is thicker and softer if that makes sense, My 135 had a few wrinkles in the leather from the first few drives the M leather is wrinkle free and looks and feels better quality. I must say the whole fit and finish on the M3 is superior to any other BMW I have owned, and this is number 10.

No takers yet on the 135, the rego is due end of May so I paid for the next 12 mths rego yesterday, so 13 mths rego and I have left the price as is on carsales. If I drop the price what do you guys suggest? I would like it sold by the end of June.

If you're not in a hurry just leave it. When you get sick of it just make it the cheapest one of all the equivelant cars by 2k. That's what I've done for my last 2 cars and both were sold in 48 hrs.

What do you think you can sell the performance parts and your set of new runflats for separately? I'd take that off your asking price and go from there. I can actually see the performance parts being a bit of a disincentive to a potential buyer, if they don't want them they won't look at your car. |

So Swift drops by on Saturday and demands I drive his new M3. I argued for a while - but he was pretty insistent and I didn't want to let him down...
He wasn't really happy with me pottering around at first and spurred me on to give it the berries. Any comparative lack of low down urge (compared to the N54) was soon forgotten when the revs picked up. Wow, this thing is an animal! And then there’s the sound! Still not happy, while I'm driving, Swift is playing with the settings to tighten up the steering, throttle response, dampers, DCT gearchange etc. Like I needed more. I’ve never really been a fan of anything other than a “proper” manual but I was really enjoying using the paddles on the wheel. They were fairly intuitive too. Thanks a lot Swift. I was quite happy with my little 135 until now. |

Thanks for all the great comments, I sold the 135i a couple of weeks ago, I got 65K for it which I was happy with, considering the prices of similar cars in the BMW used car lots. Keep in mind the used car yard prices include GST, and stamp duty etc. I am still very much enjoying the M3, I have just started playing with the S6 mode which is fun but may get expensive (tyres)
