New Shift Knob Install on 135i A/T

Here is the new shifter I installed in my '08 135i vert

Removal of old shifter and installing new took less than a minute.



Judicious use of a pry bar under the bottom lip of the old shifter had it off in seconds with no excessive force.

Used a wooden block under the pry bar to protect the trim.

Well, congrats on the install! Looks good, but why? Also, were you able to connect the indicators to light it up?
