Radio keeps cutting out...

Hi Guys, I have the BMW Professional radio system on my '06 130i, and it will regularly cut out, sometimes every 5secs. It seems to just change itself to the current preset station, so the effect is that the radio just keeps cutting out for a second. Before this, I started to get some bluetooth connectivity issues, and now I can't seem to connect at all. Do you think this is all down to the MULF?

mine does it too sometimes

but... not often always?

i mean - sometimes it will do it over and over and over

then it will go many weeks before it happens again. don't think it's happened in a long time right now.

i remember seeing thread on babybmw but i can't find it now...

I had this issue, your BT module (MULF) is dead.

if you dont care for BT, you can rewire your fibre optic cable loops to disconnect it and it'll work fine.

Otherwise you can find a second hand BT module (MULF) to change over (which is what i did). they are damn expensive for what they are.
