Anyone want to swap black 1M wheels for stock 1M wheels?

There's a chance I might be picking up a black 1M with black wheels from a friend.

If this goes ahead, I'm interested to know if there is any interest in swapping the black wheels with standard coloured rims--on the assumption that they are of a similar condition, of course.

I understand that they will be perfect given the low mileage and nature of the owner. Consistent with this, the paint job will be of a high standard, but again I can confirm this at a later time.

I'm thinking there may be another 1M owner interested in discussing the possibility of a swap. Melbourne ideally.

If so, please email me at townsend@vicbar.com.au

Stilll ruminating on the options. I've got three weeks to go, so I need to make my mind up quickly. Only problem is that Liz doesn't know whether her next job is a public transport or drive to work one. If I can live with one car, that's clearly the best option, so it may still be the M135i.

And apart from it being a bit aggressive to my liking, my sister has a black s3 with black wheels, she's always quick to suggest that I'm copying her style. I'd never hear the end of it.

Back OT, sorry Matty, I think you will find it difficult to get a wheel swap as most have either painted, or not, their wheels as they see fit already, remembering our cars are at least 9 months old now.

Try talking to Chris at BMW Melbourne, he organised their paint shop to do our white cars' wheels, perhaps they can paint them factory silver for you, shouldn't cost more than ~$1k.

How does the A45 handle?... haven't read many reviews, but seems most power goes to the front, and then only to the rear when needed... is that correct?
yeah it uses haldex like the AWD VW's

it's been improved a lot over the years so it's not as terrible as it sounds haha
