Repairing cracked/scratched carbon fibre

Hi Guy,

Anyone know anyone who can repair scratched/tiny cracks in carbon fibre in Perth?

Cheers Vic.

You can try Beyond Custom in Morley. FYI, I asked for an estimate to do some repairs for a scratched CF front lip and it worked out cheaper to get a new lip.

Take it to someone who does fibreglassing for boats.

They can grind down the clear coat, fill it in and polish it up. I have this done for my last diffuser and it cost me $50...

There are some DIYs around but to do it properly you have to sand it down fully and redo the clear coat... take it to a professional as Angus said... Some body shops might do it, should be a fairly cheap fix

Mind you, mine was quite severe with a portion at the front of the lip sanded off from contact to the ground. I guess they would have to build it up or something which takes a while.
