Jet Black has been a nightmare for me. After trying microfiber cloths and waffle weave cloths I have gone back to "The Absorber" that I have used for years. It's the best synthetic towel on the market.

If your car has a good wax job the water will mostly cascade off and I lightly use "The Absorber" to pick up the remaining water. My swirl problems have been greatly reduced.

Other colors like white or silver that have the ability to hide swirls you have many more options including high quality microfiber.

I have a Shamwow, some microfibers from Harbor Freight, and a microfibre of unknowm origin, old chamois.
Ratings:
Unknown origin is best.
Harbor Freight close, but a bit too small.
Chamois is a pain by comparison.
Distant last Shamwow.

YMMV
