This one belongs to an employee of one of my regular customers with a CLK 63 Black Series.
She got it just a few months ago but it already had some issues with swirls.
This is NOT a full paint correction as it's her DD and she would't want to pay for a complete correction anyway.
Some parts i tackled with Menz Power Gloss when i wasn't getting the desired results with 3M swirl remover.
The remaining parts i did use the 3M followed by Menz 106.
As you can see in the after pics, not everything was taken out.
But most importantly she was extremely happy because she got more than she had expected.

BEFORE

50/50 you can still see imperfections on the right side

OMG, I have the same color car and it would kill me if mine looked like those "before" pictures. I try to keep on top of it using the Griot's polish system. Nice Job!

Amazingly even before it looked pretty good as long as it wasn't in direct sunlight.
She said it looked like that when she picked it up new from the dealer but didn't see it till the next day because she made the mistake to pick it up at night.

How did you apply the 3M swirl remover? Hand or mechanical?

nice turnaround. Man, those swirls make me feel a lot better about the swirls in my Jet Black as they're not nearly that bad lol

Definitely applied the products by rotary, you need the speed and build up of heat to properly break down the polish to work correct.
Sometimes you can achieve pretty good results with an orbital also but the rotary is much more efficient.

You guys can see some other posts of mine in the M3 section.
Maybe someone can help me out , when i try to copy and paste from one forum to another on here, the pics won't transfer. I would be showing lote more work but it's a pain in the ass to re-submit for every forum.
Any suggestions?

She either:

1. Daily drove that thing through a sandstorms and then didn't rinse it before wiping it off.

or

2. Let the dealership wash it.

I've got JB and I lived through 1.5 years of SoCal's oily air and my first Chicago winter and my car doesn't look half as bad as that... yikes.

Nice work!
