BMW Australia Contact

Hi All,

I have had a series of extremely unfortunate experiences at my local dealership. I was wondering if anyone had a contact at BMW Australia to submit a formal complaint? I'm concerned that sending it via their general email address it may not end up with the right person.

Thanks in advance!

I have many issues with my dealer and on Friday got a flat out refusal to help from BMW-A , i intend to escalate my complaint to the QLD consumer law advocate.

Its a joke how BMW treat the product support side of thier business. :m ad0259:

FWIW I just received a feedback form from BMW following a recall on our X5. The General Manager - After Sales was John Fairman (hopefully he lives up to his surname).

Managing Director was Phil Horton.

Perhaps if you could work out their e-mail addresses, you could bombard them. Shooting for the top echelons may mean some action / response compared to shooting lower.....

HQ is in Victoria and reception was 03 9264 4000.

Good Luck......

You can get to the BMW AG. A previous owner had four HPFP failures and actually got somewhere contacting their board members. His advise was it is not too hard to work out their email addresses.

The Fairfax press managed to push VW into a recall. How big of a story can you give them

Thank you to everyone who responded.

I called and was advised to send to info@ address. Sent an email three days ago with no response. If I don't hear back this week—I'll be going public with it.

BMW Australia generally won't assist you if you have an issue with the dealer as it is a private contract between two parties. You will have to escalate the issue to consumer affair/fair trading and go from there. ( based upon my previous experience with Col Crawford BMW at Brookvale NSW)

When I had issues with 2 dealers over my e46m, I wrote directly to MD BMA and after a few discussions with his assistant, the Technical Services Manager arranged a time to meet me when he was next in Sydney. After driving my car, he gave me another M3 as loaner on the same day and fixed my issues after 3 weeks off road. It may be 7 years back but I'm confident BMA would still relish good customer feedback. Important thing I did was not to just whinge about my issues and poor dealers' assistance, I was very factual and non-emotional in my complaint to the MD. Included in my letter were a chronology of events, contact names, dates, discussion notes, whom/names of persons I have dealt with etc etc. Let the witch hunt start internally and I'm sure someone would respond to your needs. Goodluck

When i had an issue with Alto BMW back when they were alive ...I called in regards to an X3 issue i had, i informed them that i was a mariachi and that i carried a wonderful guitarra with the lot. After that comment they went and immediately fixed the issues with my X3. Moral of the story is go into your dealer dressed up as Antonio Banderas 'El Mariachi' outfit with your guitarra.
