2009 135i deal

Hi,
I'm a newbie to this forum but I'm in the market for a new car. I came across clearance of 2009 135i (step) with M and premimum package for $41,400+taxes which to me sounds like a great price to get into a 135i. Two concerns I had were the HPFP issue on the N54 and whether the talked about extended warranty on it is applicable to Canada as well and secondly if you think the N54 based 135i will see drop in market value with the new N55 based+DCT 2011 vehicles? Dealer sounds firm on the price, you think more can be shaved off?

BTW, I had no intention on getting into the twin-turbo since it was out of my budget new off the lot but at this price its tempting

Thanks.

idk if there is any cash incentive from BMW Canada.. if not, that's a pretty good deal... HPFP issues on N54 is a hit or miss... Mine had one failure @ 8700km and replaced with no questions asked... unfortunately, the parts went in was not an updated one... there is no warranty extension on HPFP in Canada... confirmed by BMW Canada... but they said they were working on similar extension to us Canadians.. but I doubt that would happen... hope this help...

That's a great price. The N54 is going to be a BMW classic engine. There are many debates on wether the N55 is going to be able to deliver what the N54 has done and more particularily will it be as tunable. I would suggest that you jump on that deal with no regrets potential HPFP issues or not.

Make like Tiger Woods and Just Do It!
