New Mini Countryman vs 1-er hatch…

The current issue of AutoBild magazine has an article on the new Mini Countryman Cooper S vs a 1er 120i four door hatch. I thought the X1 was more of the Countryman’s competitor… but here they are saying the 1er is. ? Be sure to check out how much those options cost over here – and what comes standard and who doesn’t!!!


Lets hear what you guys think. Sorry my German is kind of limited. Maybe someone here can translate the important stuff.

I've said it before.. If MINI ever puts an interior in one of their cars that doesn't make me want to throw up at first sight I'll be the first in line to buy one.... Until then, it's complete deal-breaker for me.

Shame really... I kind of dig the Coutryman.

I seriously considered saving some money and getting a Cooper S myself. That interior was a definite deal breaker for me as well. It's hideous.
