I know this was a issue on the Z4M coupe.

A few people have. I've never had issue with it on my car though. In fact one of the smoothest shifting cars I've ever owned.

If you don't feel like you need it then I wouldn't mess with it.

Search for "CDV delete DIY"... you will find LOTS of info.

CDV = clutch delay valve

I did mine a few weeks back, worthwhile and cheap (in fact free) mod, an easy DIY.
