Question Delivery Time

So it hasn't even been 2 weeks and my car is already awaiting transport. Would that be considered ahead of schedule?

That sucks! I lucked out, the car slot I got was 1 step from being order so they changed the options just in time for me.

Have you called in to BMW to get an update? I called earlier today and was surprised with how helpful they were. Great customer service!

I called BMW NA yesterday and the young lady on the phone wasn't very helpful. She basically said without a production date there isn't anything they can do. I asked if she can give me an estimate when to expect a production date (it's been almost two weeks!) and she said she couldn't. Maybe I should call back and talk to someone else? My dealer isn't helpful either.

I had the same experience both in my CA not having a clue (and out right lying) and BMWNA refusing to talk to me without a build number (hello? That's the problem?). I canceled my order and haven't gotten over the frustration enough to try again yet...

Well, I actually have a production number, but it's been two weeks and I still don't know when my car is scheduled for production. Basically, BMW is saying they'll build me a car, but they aren't telling me when.

There for a while I was being ignored after I put down the 1k on my car for it to go into production. finally one day I sent my CA a text because no one would contact me and I said, "you know, if I wanted to be ignored I could have just purchased a newer version of the car I already have (07 Infiniti G35) but instead I went with BMW cause I THOUGHT you guys worked with the customer, should I take my business, and money elsewhere?" he called about 5 mins later and said he was sorry for not keeping in touch with me. Its def frustrating I know, I hope they provide you with the information soon. Personally I would not talk to anyone but your CA and if you are not happy with how things are going request to speak to his manager and cancel the order, saying you expected better from BMW, just my opinion, for what it's worth.

PS, if you haven't already, try the 800 number, people say stay away from it, and most of the time I would agree with them, but if you're not hearing anything it doesn't hurt to try it: 1-800-831-1117
