15 Minutes With My New 135

So after that brutal 3 weeks at the port waiting for a ship with the other Week 14ers, I finally picked up my car this last Monday. I drove it home, which is only 5 miles away, topping out at a blistering 45 mph. After pulling into the garage, I gawked at the car for 10 minutes, and then it was time to go to the airport to catch a flight for a week-long business trip to Tucson. I literally spent only 15 minutes with my car, and now I'm over 2000 miles away.

And to add insult to injury, my rental car out here is a Ford Focus. 3 more days...

I feel your pain, man... back in Jan of 05, I bought a used 2002 M3. I finally made the deal with the previous owner around 8pm on a Tuesday... and I had to be at the airport on Wednesday at 5am for a 3 week trip overseas! To make things worse, when I got back, there was a foot of snow on the ground, so the car sat in the garage for another week until I spent 2 hours chipping the ice away from my garage to free it... quite the experience!

^ could be the other way around. this is somebody that drives a focus full time riding in the passenger of a 1er!

Congrats on finally getting your 1; sorry you had to leave her so soon. How do you like the Grey Poplar Wood? I've love the look of it with the Red Coral, would appreciate your thoughts of it in the 15 minutes you were with the car.

Well at least you will really appreciate how great the One Series is when you get home. Not to mention how fast your car is gonna feel in comparison to the slocus! I had one for a rental once when I had a VW GTI VR6. God it was a miserable weekend!
