Got the car back from the shop again today... seems like they were able to fix the issue with the exhaust hitting the cross brace without needing to use washers like others have suggested. Let's hope it stays that way as things warm up and the hangers sag a bit.

Ready for time to fast forward a few weeks so I can get a FMIC installed and get that Stage2+ installed! Mmmmmm.

Does the P3 guage work with the Cobb AP? I have the Cobb and I ordered the vent guage but didnt do the research until now lol, but i see you have both. Just wanted to see how it works out for you. how did they get the exhaust to not hit that cross brace WITHOUT washers? I have that problem over big bumps and its annoying as hell.

Both Einser M and I have the p3 guage and it works perfectly with the Cobb AP. The P3 is a great piece of hardware.

Awesome! Thanks for the response. I can't wait to get it. Its such a sleek alternative to the traditional guage/guage pod

I just have to unplug the P3 gauge when I want to use Cobb, no big deal.

Apparently they just hung the exhaust a little higher up and punched in the heat shield above it just a bit so there was more room on top. It still hits the cross bar on big bumps, but very rarely.

Been hanging low. Started having some issues with misfiring on cold starts, so no fun additions till I take her in and get all the ignition/fuel bits replaced. Just want to do it all at once. Next month looks like the month for FMIC and Stage 2

Quick Update:

Car is going into the shop next week to get the misfiring issues resolved. While it's in there I am going getting walnut blasting done as well as installation of a BMS OCC.

Depending on how much all of that ends up setting me back, we should expect a FMIC installed and having her purring on Stage 2 software within 2-5 weeks.

More updates to come!

Hey I know you're a downtown local, which shop are you going to for your mods?

I have been going to Midwest Performance Cars but I have not been all that impressed with them, specially considering how much they charge per hour. This time I am taking it to MK Autolab in the burbs to how they do and if it's worth the extra drive or not. I'll let you know how it goes.

Cool. I've been seen good reviews on yelp for MPC so surprised to hear your op. I've only been to A&L/IND, they're a little far but do nice job and reasonable.

Just got the car back from MK Autolab. Matt the owner is a stand up guy and they were very meticulous, texting me photos of even the smallest issue they saw as they were going through the car. Super affordable, definitely worth the little bit of an extra drive/train ride.

Just purchased this bad boy a tonight. Hopefully by late next week I will be FBO and running Stage2+ like a boss.

Next: Save save save for a complete suspension overhaul. I'll probably buy a few cosmetic items to tide me over as that happens though

I'll snap some good photos again once the FMIC is installed. Werd.

Was on a high when I got home and had the Cobb FMIC waiting for me, but was then immediately disappointed when I took her out for a spin and got misfiring and new o2 codes again. FML. Looks like shes going back to the shop again next week for a bit

But seriously, that Cobb FMIC is a beast. It's beautiful!
