Yep, I went to their shop after I did Euro Delivery and had them fit the exhaust to my car. First US spec car, AFAIK. It's by far the best design I have seen for quads. I really like it. I had them ship it to me as I couldn't import the car with it on. The shipping was reasonable.

I sent the company in Germany an email asking "do you have a carbon fibre diffuser for the 135i with the standard (one outlet) exhaust? The reply was:

"where does this request belong to? please allways attach the old email
conversation..
Sorry I do not understand this request"

Ah the problems of not speaking German!

Odd..Cause I have been sending emails back and forth speaking to "Jurgen" and so far he understands what I am asking for..

It was Jurgens name on the email. Maybe he mistook me for you!

Proof the Germans have a sense of humour! I emailed Jurgen and this time I got the prices for the diffuser for the std exhaust (thanks Zuzu for clearing the way!). They are:

649 euro for the diffuser with carbon fibre in the middle section ($1135)
749 euro for the full carbon diffuser ($1310)
About 169 euro to ship to Victoria. ($300)

Probably outside my budget, but I will ponder it over the weekend.

Just heard back from Inside Performance and they quote that their Quad exhaust is 10kg lighter than the OEM exhaust..

They custom make everything per order. So it's a 4 week turnaround for the diffuser or exhaust. I couldn't wait, so I went with the Bastuck quad and diffuser (the diffuser is plastic tho). The Bastuck diffuser seems a lot lighter than the stock one and is only 200eur. I think.

Yeah, Jurgen is a really cool guy. Got to meet him when I was over there. They really know what they are doing.

As for pictures and sound clips, I will post them us as soon as I get the exhaust on. I could have sworn i had sound clips on my camera when i was there getting it fitted but I can't find them. However, Jurgen took sound clips while i was there so I know he has them. Ask him to send sound clips from the exhaust they installed on Shane's AW 135i.

I talked to them about the same quesion - seems as if they are developing a quad with diffusor for the E81 and E87 right now..
