Exhaust purchased in summer 2012 and used for about 35,000 miles. Exhaust is stainless steel and there is no rust. It gives the car a great sound but is not too loud. It is also supposed to add 4 HP.









Exhaust comes without the original clamp which I had to reuse to install the original exhaust on the car before it was traded in. A new clamp can be purchased from BMW for about $50 (part # 18307536426) or any number of less expensive clamps available online or in auto parts stores should work too. The pipe diameter is 65 mm. Here’s a picture of what the clamp looked like:
