MPSS = new car
Just had my run-craps replaced with Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
I've only put 25 miles on so far - but what a difference! The joy is back! Going easy right now, can't wait to see what these are like after break-in. |

My rears are just about done, I am so excited to get a set of PSS's on :]
Are you rocking the 225/255 combo on stock rims? |

The more I drive on these, the more convinced I am that I did the right thing. The roads around here have really gone to pot and my daily drive was becoming downright painful. |

No kidding. My area is just about the same, potholes everywhere. Im praying that when I get a new tire set mounted, my rims aren't bent to crap.

So stock wheels with the PSS and no rubbing issues ? That's what i'm afraid of with the stock M wheels and the PSS in 225 and 255...

Any change as far as turn-in response? I'd like to ditch the run-flats but I do like the crisp turn-in response they provide.

I had my MPSS installed today.
I think the only thing I can confirm so far is that there is no rubbing with stock wheels and suspension using the 225/255 set up. I took it over a small hill quick enough to unload the suspension, and then compress, I did not hear a thing. I will hold judgement on the turn-in/handling until I get some more miles on them. I could feel the rear start to slide a little around on of the turns I did on the way home today. The tread is really deep on these tires.

I've slid a bit on a corner or two, but I'm still under 200 miles. I haven't gotten the nerve yet to go TIM YOYO on these.
