We taped the headlights to the hood which is why the lights look this way. The 135i only has a single latch hood unlike the 335i which is double latch. At aroung 155mph the front hood begins to lift on the 135i, so it's taped on purpose to prevent that from happening at top end speeds.

Yea, I hit 145 mph my last day on the autobahn in October and the car was/is capable of a lot more even with "just" the M-sport package. I cannot imagine how a speed run would be with all the mods ASR has done! That's one bad ass ride!!

Oh yea -- definitely a Bowler hat, not a top hat.

The concept of "bolt-on" kinda loses its meaning when you're swapping out the turbos and injecting methanol. If people want to talk apples-to-apples, compare street set-up to street set-up.

Regardless, 178.7 is fast, congrats.

wow. does the M-sport package even raise the limiter to 155mph or is it already there? The package is really just looks. I put mine to the limiter at least once a month on the autobahn. Of course I couldn't imagine those speeds on the stock suspension. The AC schnitzer tops out at what 187? And it's not that much of a performance upgrade with intake and DP's I stayed door to door with my friends schnitzer up to 140mph. Without a limiter I'm sure a stock 135i would get to almost 170mph before resistance started to = power.

Yes, we already finished all the hardware end of this package. We are currently in the engine building stage for the M5's since the customer's cars we are currently working on both chose to do the Stage III built engine package.

How is this even possible with a 3.0 liter engine?
It is possible on a 3 liter engine. I think the question that you should ask is "What's happening in the lower rev range?"
