fold-down seat console
Hi
I’m from Germany, and I’m driving a E82 1series. I want to install a Recaro Pole Position bucked seat. The problem is, if you install a bucket seat in a 2 door car, you’ll have to put the rear seats out of service. But I need them! So I need a seat console folding down. There are some, but not for the 1 series. And these for the 1 series are fixed, I think because in Germany the most 1 series sold are 5 door hatchbacks. Can someone help me? Regards from Munich |

I'm not sure if you've thought of the Recaro Sportster CS, they are a little bit easier to get in and get out of, offer the reclining feature you're looking for and still able to use a 4 pt. harness or your stock shoulder/lap belt. They cost more, but if you want full use of your rear seats its worth the price and not having to compromise.

Thanks, I know these seats. They are the same as the Performance seats from BMW or MINI. But I think they are just sport seats, no bucket seats. I already sat in both seats, and I must say, that the lateral support isn’t so good. The Pole Position is perferct.
But your right, it’s the last option. With these I won’t have all these problems. |

I hope you find the hardware for the Pole Positions. I haven't sat in either seat, but I have sat in true bucket seats and I'd take that over the Sportsters. The $400-$500 per seat would probably be spent on something more important anyway
