KW V3 Rear Adjustments

So, I've finally drilled 2 holes to access the Rebound settings for the rear struts, but I couldn't find the Compression/Bump setting. I crawled under the car, and thought it'll be like the front where the compression settings is located at the very bottom of the struts, but they aren't there. Do I've to remove the rear wheels to adjust the compression setting?

Oh, and sorry for my DIY noobness, if I've to jack up the rear only, is it safe to just put wheel chock on the front wheels and jack up the rear using the center (cross member) jack point? or to be absolutely safe, I've to put the front on jack stands first?

TIA

I'd either do one wheel at a time at the rear or get the front on jack stands....

my compression setting is on the strut about 2 inches up from the bottom unlike the rebound settings which at the top. Then again mine is Koni based. Just an idea.

chock the front wheel, raise rear of car, put jack stands under rear jack pads or on the two 18mm bolts that attach the chassis brace to the subframe. no need to up the front on jack stands as long as the wheels are chocked.

The adjusters for the V3's are on the lower portion of the shock on the side of the shock. Just above the rubber saddle it sits in. They give you a little 1mm wire tool to insert into the hole on the shaft to adjust the compression. I usually just use a small allen key to do it.

And my short public service announcement: One of my customers tragically passed away this year when his car fell on him. He was working on the rear diff without having the front wheels chocked. The car rolled forward just enough to fall off the jack stands and he was killed from the injuries. Left behind a 9 month old daughter. So lets all learn from that and always be safe when working on cars! Use wheel chocks, use jack stands, always work on concrete (never blacktop/asphalt), and always work on level ground. ALWAYS!

Working under a 3400lb car is dangerous business, that's why I want to make sure I'm doing it Safe.

Thanks Berk.
