Resonance after clutch change

Hi all,

I had my clutch changed last weeks to an aftermarket unit custom made in Brisbane by NPC, who have a good racing history. It was installed by my local performance shop. It has a SMF in steel.

Now I get a really loud resonance at around 2000 rpm, seems to be in every gear, most noticable in 3rd and above when under a slight load. Has been apart again and inspected by the mechanics and the manufacturers, no obvious issues.

Anyone had this problem before. Apparently a 3-5 week wait for an OEM flywheel. The other option is reusing the original DMF, or reducing the spring weight of the clutch.

Has this happened to anyone else? I still have a original exhaust, and was considering if I need to change the midpipe to try and change the drone which may be contributing to the resonance.

Any thoughts?

Andrew
