Good deal?
2010 135i M Sport, Nav, hifi-sound, premium pkg, Le Mans blue, Comfort Access, Sirius, 261M wheels, 27k miles, certified.
Price is $33k. What do you all think? KBB says $32,7. I'd be new to the 1, but familiar with the brand (obviously). I bought my e90 CPO from the same dealer, so it's possible they will work with me. Anything to worry about with the 135 turbos, as the 335 guys worry about? Will my 17" snow tire/wheel package fit?

Just to give you a feel for the room you probably have, the residual on my fully loaded 2010 was $28,300 and the dealer put it up for sale at $36,700. It sold fairly quickly. You could probably get them down to $31k-ish and have both sides walk away happy. It costs roughly $2k for them to certify a car so figure a bottom line of around $30k for them.
It's the same engine as the 335 so the same issues apply. If the 17" setup was for the 3er then it likely will not fit due to differing offsets but there are 17" setups that do.

I loved my 135. If I did not need four doors I would still be driving it. The HPFP issues and wastegates are covered up to 120k miles so you shouldn't worry too much about that. It's overall a fine car.

It has the lemon interior. The person who ordered this car went all out. Whew.

I would do a little reading on the interior. That was a Priority 1 option in 2010, I believe, but it can also be hard to keep clean. Even my coral red would get a little blue from denim.

That car sounds like a pretty good deal. Recent cpo buyer here, and with a similarly equipped convertible. LOVING my car.
That deal is pretty good. I'd offer 31k an see what they say. If I had to pick a color, I might have ordered LMB with the lemon. Put up pics if you get it! Good luck. |

Nice color combo but prepare to spend time to keep it nice & clean. Drop the puck offer $31K.

Ok, good advice all 'round. I might go $31k WITH the tire/wheel protection pack. Gotta have that in Boston. I do hope my 17" snow tires/wheels fit.

Just traded in a 2011 titanium silver with coral red 135i. It`s at Kelly VW in Danvers. Six speed with only 10000 miles and not a scratch on it. Also has the M package.

Thanks. I see it on their site, but that's still $15k more. Plus excise tax will be higher. I'll see what the CPO one comes up as.

Why'd you do that? Sounds like a nice car. It won't be CPO, though.

There was 1K Olympic cash available when I was looking and 1K for taking a leftover. I would check for deals from BMW, if any. Be advised they charge $500. doc fee so price your offers accordingly. |

I found a 135i vert for the same price, same miles, 2011. Practically the same car. So $32k is kinda high. http://www.faulknerbmw.com/Used/BMW/...M24469-wdi.cfm

I'll share my experience. 2008 135i convertible, dark blue, 48k miles, CPO, M package, Nav, Heated Seats, 6 Speed. 29k (talked down from ~32). Few scratches on the paint; seems liek the passenger side door was hit/scraped hard on something, one accident on carfax (could have been very minor though because carfax doesn't give details)

I bought my 2011 135i for $27500. M Sport, Nav, premium package.... But then again... I bought from an auction. So to answer your question, it is a little too much. You should be able to haggle a bit more.

It's their initial listing price too, since they just took it in last weekend. I think they might sit on it a few weeks before discounting it too much, but I am going in on the last day of the month, so who knows.
