I am replacing mine with a Z4 35is. It appeals to me greatly since it is basically 3 cars in one: a luxury car, coupe and convertible. Also has the power to match its looks and Terry from BT reckons a JB3 will work with just a few custom settings via the USB cable.

Just got mine, but...
...never met a car I didn't like
If I had an extra $30k two months ago a new M3 6-speed would be in my driveway. Awesome daily driver. Next year? Maybe a 1M? Another couple years? Who knows? Maybe I'll be in the same cars? Maybe gas will be $10 and my DD will be a Leaf and a Lotus Elise will be the weekend toy? Maybe the economy will be in full-on depression and I'll be riding a bicycle? Maybe I'll strike it rich with one of my zany stock calls and buying everything that appeals to me? I'll probably be in the 1, with a lot more mods on it. Or the 1M if it's well-sorted enough and affordable enough that it makes some of the suspension and diff mods cheaper to buy in an all-new package than to buy and add to mine. Good thread! |

I usually decide the time has come when I buy another car that I want at that time. Then I sell the existing car. Highly variable. The next car may be the 1 M Coupe. It could be something else.

It's a big leap to the Porsche side both in terms of price and upkeep plus very expensive insurance. Ditto for the BMW that at least has fours years of upkeep on BMW.

E90 M3 once summer is gone. I'll place an order so that I can get it for ED this winter during vacation.
