Maybe something wrong with the headlights not being able to swivel when turning the wheel as they should? I don't have my owners manual now but its prob in there.

"It's code outside icon"
Yeah, this car has more beeps and lights than I can keep track of. Last winter I was driving to the mountains and it was cold outside when the car started beeping with some weird symbol in the center dash (I don't remember what). I was fairly worried that something fatal had occurred and as it was cold, dark and in the middle of nowhere I didn't know where I would go if the car failed. Fortunately, the Nav display had some English: "Temperate <32 degrees." - Oh, OK. I know it's cold outside - I'm in the mountains. I'll be careful about ice thank you very much. The icon is fine and dandy but words are much more informative than whatever icon was being shown.

German cars have had the snowflake warning for years. It might even be a requirement for them to have it at this point. Anything that comes up in yellow is a warning. If there's a serious failure it will be red. The one above is most likely telling him that the adaptive headlights aren't working properly. |

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!!!
Honestly don't know. Probably adaptive headlights. Agree, these cars require an engineering degreee to understand all they are trying to tell you. |

Yeah, its the "black ice warning", Evo's have it too. Get used to the warnings, dings, beeps and symbols people, they are only going to get worse as time goes on. |

If the car has iDrive, you'd think they'd be able to put more descriptive text on the big display.
Something to the effect of "Your adaptive headlights have failed" instead of showing a yellow icon which seems to indicate that your steaming hot bowl of soup is not balanced correctly and is in danger of tipping over.

The warning and notification system is built for the lowest common denominator of model specification. Since iDrive is an optional component, I can understand why it's not integrated. I'm sure it could be, but I'm guessing it's a low priority feature that hasn't been given enough time and effort to implement. |

It means:
"Warning, several Romulan attack vessels detected at 12 o'clock. Recommend bringing up defensive cloaking shields and firing pulse lasers forward in a 60 degree alternating arc." That's from the Vulcan E88 guide. |
