Crazy...
So I was just driving down the road heading to a party, and all of a sudden my windows roll down without any action from me, and then I can't roll them up or use any of the mirror adjust buttons or anything on that panel? Has anyone had this happen to them before? Anyway I think my car is possessed by ghosts and I am taking it in for service tomorrow.

This has happened to me once before. I started up the car, pressed the idrive knob to confirm and then my windows went down then went back up. 10 seconds later the windows went down and the sunroof opened up. I wasn't able to close them for about a minute or so. Hasn't happened since then. Very strange though.

When I try and roll the windows up after several car restarts all that happens is I hear a click in the door and thats it... It sounds like a fuse inside the door.

When I've had my Windows lock up, I find rebooting my PC fixes things, perhaps you just need to reboot the electronics?
Cheers, Alf

Occam's Razor suggests that it's an electrical problem and not ghosts. Thoroughly investigate all other possibilities first, and once they've been exhausted it's still NOT ghosts.

I had my window go down a it wouldn't go back up at all. I didn't notice anything else like the mirrors not working, but it turned out to be the window regulator had gone out. You'll have to bring it into the dealer to get it fixed if that's the case.

Haven't had this particular issue with my 135i buuuuut years ago I had a 94' Maxima which was known for quirky electrical issues and I had all four windows roll down in the middle of a drive-in car wash and they would NOT roll back up...it was the middle of winter and freezing cold out...worse part was I had to wait for the wash cycle to finish cause it was one of those washes with the doors that close when you pull in...hahaha it's funny as hell now but if you couldve seen me pulling out of that car wash soaking wet with all my windows down in 20 degree weather with a mean look on my face...ohh man I wish I had that on video

I think I know what happened. I've had this happen to me (it was freaky at first). But what likely happened was that the keys were in your pocket and somehow the unlock button was pressed (and held) which puts down the windows and opens the sunroof.
If the keys weren't in your pocket I have no idea what happened hehe If that's not the issue, you can try resetting your windows by pushing both window buttons downs for 10 secs or something.

Same thing has been happened in our Cayenne Turbo including radio going on and off. The Porsche techs just told us "Oh, it's a German ghost, nothing we can do." I thought they were joking with us, but they seriously said there is nothing to be done.

I haven't had anything like the OP was saying, at least not that specific. But the day after I took delivery I couldnt get the driver's window to go up all the way. I would hit the auto-up, the window would go all the way up, then go down 1/3rd of the way. It would do it over and over. I took it to the dealer and he had me hold the lever up for 30 seconds and it fixed it.

Had a related window problem last week
I noticed that the passenger window glass was not flush with the seal one day while getting gas. Normally, of course, the window drops ~0.5" when the door opens and then goes back up when closed. I tried opening and closing the door a few times but nothing happened. When I got back into the car that window wouldn't move at all using either the driver or passenger window buttons. I drove for a while and some time later it magically started working again. Only a few days ago and no weird behavior since.
