Adding LED lights

I just got a set of LED DRLs and want to add them to my 08 135i. Does anyone have a recommendation from which source to power these lights? I was thinking about splicing the regular DRL cable where it goes into the front light housing, but I was also wondering if there is a better power source somewhere in the front ...

You should already have Angel Eyes, it's a simple matter to just replace the bulb. Most replacements are plug and play.

Sorry, should have been more specific. The LED that I bought are in addition to the AE and I am planning to install them near the air intake on the front. They are LED strips (8 1W LEDs in a row). I would like to have both AE and new LED strips on at the same time.

In that case, the simplest way would be to tap into the DRL wiring making ultra sure you make the connection waterproof with heat shrink tubing.

Would you happen to know which pin that would be? On the front left I have a 10-pin connector. The top row has 3 fat wires which I am assuming are for the HID lights...

First pin. Grey and purple on mine. May differ to yours.
