New 135i owner

Proud new owner of a '13 135i. Just picked her up yesterday and have nothing but compliments so far.
However since this is my first 6mt, I stalled quite a bit yesterday. I def. need more time practicing my footwork but now I'm officially in the club

Congratz! If you plan on doing any modding I would stick with cosmetic stuff for now until you get better at driving a stick. Don't want to break anything even more so if this is the fastest car you have ever owned. Good luck!

Congrats. Using a mt is so much fun. Take it easy until you have a really good feel for it. You would not want to break anything. Enjoy

I've driven many standards and prior to getting my 135i last year I came from and Acura TL 6-speed and a Jeep Wrangler 6-speed.

I can honestly say the 135 is the easiest manual I've ever driven.
The only tricky part was getting used to reverse, which took me a little while to do.

Overall I didin't love the manual at first (I couldn't find one to test drive before I bought it) but after a year of ownership its grown on me.

For the record the Jeep was the most difficult to drive manual I ever owned.

You may want to keep track of your rear tires. If you have the same OEMs that I have, the wear rating is very low. I tend to get a little spin once in a while (😈) and after 5,000 miles, they're half-gone.

Still LOVE the car though. Have fun!!!
