If you car doesn't have iDrive then use the use the radio system to change the fuel consumption units to whatever you want
- hit 'Menu' the choose 'Config' etc. |

- All European cars have l/100km as an option (the most commonly used in Metric countries). Fuel consumption is normally expressed in this unit in brochures, magazines etc.
- mpg for the UK (and some Irish people prefer it because that is what they are used to from the old days) - km/l (not sure how often this is used in metric countries) |
