Dyno procedure for N55 DCT Trans
I am going to be dynoing my DCT E82 this comming week. Is there anything I need to do to get a decent baseline without all of the car's computers freaking out? I am doing to a dynojet if that matters. What gear should I dyno in and is there anything I can do to keep the trans from downshifting so I can get a clean run. I'm thinking of adding a few gallons of 101 just as a safeguard against LSPI
TIA

Usually it's always 3rd gear pulls from what I've seen. And can't you just switch over to manual mode and pop it in 3rd without computer downshifting into 2nd...

Try something like BMS downshift blocker or learn to not mash the pedal to the floor. The DCT will only downshift if the pedal is full pressed to the floor.

It sounds like you guys are hitting the "kickdown" switch.
