Thanks guys, also what should I do about traction control on the dyno? Off, on?

Is there anything else I should know about dynoing my car?

n54tech has a thread that I recommend for "How to dyno your car". It is stickied in the DIY Modification subforum. The first page of posts discuss disabling just DTC (single button press) and DSC (holding the button). Have a look. Sorry don't know the rules for linking to other forums.

that's a great thread. talks about where to clamp on the connectors for rpms, etc. you'll want to completely disable the dtc/dsc by holding it down for 4+ seconds. you should get both the dtc light and the warning triangle with circle in the middle (see my avy) to confirm they're both defeated.

riss racing is pretty unique for an exhaust. the fitment issues are over-rated. i had an RR exhaust that i bought brand new, but sold to a friend. he was able to install it with zero issues regarding the way it fit, etc.

(this is just my opinion)

i don't care for anything that active autowerke does. the AA intercooler is a re-packaged ebay intercooler (big tom) that i bought for under a few hundred dollars. the AA "processor" was just a repackaged jb3. the downpipes, exhaust, etc all look cheap to me. i think they overprice shitty products and their name brand earns them fanboys.

/rant

haven't heard any n55 with the RR exhaust. why so worried about the exhaust though? it's the least powerful bolt-on. the stock exhaust has been shown to support over 400whp.

i'd just PM andrew with AR design. they're running a special. the cp-e exhaust fits any 135i (n54/n55). i remember a group buy thread a few months back, someone with an n55 said they had no issues fitting the full cat-back (dp-back) exhaust to their n55.
